Undefined Structure began in 2022 between mom-friend duo Kara and Jen. Years of being friends and sharing common SAHM experiences showed us our struggles and achievements could be relatable to other Moms; and so we started this blog. Our worlds are full of colorful and unexpected touches, while also having a good dose of crafty organization – our goal is to share it with you and to keep our homes and family life inspired and running with a bit of grace.
Our Founders
Kara (an organizing genius with an eye for home decor) and Jen (an avid event planner and graphic designer), built this blog as a place to meet other moms and share ideas about how to manage a home in a creative and organized way. We currently reside in the Chicagoland suburbs, and discuss most of our blog inspiration after waving goodbye to the kids at the bus stop and then meeting at the local coffee shop.
Our Vision
We want our kids to grow up with memories of birthday parties, family gatherings, and home life amid a backdrop of their favorite characters, magical environments, and creatively organized spaces. We hope you’ll follow along with us as we dream up ideas to help make our homes a little brighter and more manageable.
Why we started Undefined Structure
We started this blog by joining together ideas and projects we have loved and used ourselves in our own lives. It makes us so happy to see how much joy our projects bring to our family and friends; most especially how our children’s faces light up in amazement over things like a character-themed birthday party or a newly organized and kid-accessible snack shelf in the pantry. We hope our blog will help you to find this kind of joy in your life as well.
