Valentine’s Day is almost here! A nice break in the everyday-is-gray of Midwest winter days, this holiday is something I look forward to every year. I love presenting my family with little valentine gifts and thoughtfully written cards that are tailored just to them. My girls love the holiday too, and spend hours crafting valentines and writing cards for their grandparents and friends. It’s an opportunity for all of us to put a smile on our favorite people’s faces and make our friends and family feel loved!
A Fun, Non-Food Valentine’s Day Option for School!
For the valentines my girls pass out in school, we try to think of something unique to give each year. This year we chose these wind-up chatter teeth toys. Not only are they silly and adorable (we love the little rose in the mouth!), the teeth also hop along as they chatter. My kids loved “racing” them to see which one could go the farthest!
Overall, they fit with my girls’ fun personalities perfectly, and we knew their classmates would love them. Both girls can’t wait to give them out in class on Valentine’s Day!

Valentine Project Supply List
You’ll need just a few items to put these together:

- 4″ x 6″ Iridescent Cellophane Goodie Bags
- Download Our Free “Our Friendship Makes My Heart Chatter” Valentine Card
- Stapler and staples
Assemble your Valentines
These are so easy to assemble, and are only 4 quick steps to complete!
Step 1: Print and cut out the Valentine cards. We used a 60lb cardstock so the cards would be a little more sturdy, but any paper you have on hand would work.
Step 2: Have your kiddos sign on the back next to the “from”, then fold along the dotted line.
Step 3: Put the chattering teeth toy in the iridescent cellophane goody bag, then fold the top of the bag over itself a couple times. Secure with tape, if desired.
Step 4: Place the folded edge of the customized card on top of the folded edge of the bag, and staple through both sides of the card and the bag. You’re done!
